 Petition  Petition to keep fowlers alive  

To the public:

As you may or may not know the government are closing down our much loved Fowlers live to turn the building into another art gallery as this venue is listed as a heritage building. A few people alone cannot prevent one of the best atmospheric, All Ages venues Adelaide has.... so we need all the help we can get.

Fowlers is a music venue which is now called home by most Adelaide, interstate and international bands.

If Fowlers is closed this will affect not only local bands that depend on the publicity that this venue provides but also interstate bands who wish to expand from their local music scene.

Fowlers is also used for gigs with a cause (Mosh against suicide and others) Without fowlers these would be almost impossible to organize and costly.

 

So please sign the petiton and keep Fowlers and the Adelaide music scene alive.

Fowlers has been a music experience for me like no other. As an artist myself, I understand the importance of galleries in SA. But even more important is the need for a good local all ages venue such as fowlers for youth to go to so that they can watch and perform in musical performances. Fowlers is a part of the adelaide music scene, and needs to stay a part.

I went to see Static-x there a couple of months ago it was a great show.
Well over 300 people there so why shut it down btw im 13 most other places are 18 please dont shut fowlers down

Fowlers is perfect! It helps local bands gain a following and its easy to get to with public transport.
Keep Fowlers live and stick your tram lines up where the sun don't shine Rann!

Closing this venue down makes no sense..When there are other places in the city which do cause chaos, and they should be the places closing. Also Fowlers is safe, welcoming and it's a great venue for bands to rock out.

Why replace it with an Art Gallery when the city's main gallery is JUST UP THE ROAD, not to mention the Jam factory just NEXT DOOR.
